This collection of stories is written to give a voice to those who aren't focused on as much- family members of alcoholics. Alcoholism doesn't just affect the drinker. Downstream effects hurt everyone. We hope that these stories will provide a sense of community to those affected by alcohol's externalities, coupled with resources to help out.
This page was made in cooperation with Al-Anon, Alcoholics Anonymous' subsidiary which focuses on providing a safe space for family members. Their website is linked below. In keeping anonymity, all names have been changed.
